We must have trees on the brain! Earlier this month, we posted some information about how to take care of fallen leaves, but now we want to talk to you about the importance of taking care of the trees themselves.

It’s recommended that homeowners inspect the trees on their property for damage. If there’s a split in the trunk, you might want to pay attention to how far the tree is from buildings, since a split trunk means a potential for a fallen tree. If you have tree limbs that hang over your roof, there’s a potential for roof damage or clogged gutters. If you have a tree with exposed roots, you may have a trip hazard; and if the roots are very close to your home, there may be damage to the foundation.

Whatever the issue, if you need to remove a lot of tree limbs or an entire tree, it may be a good idea to enlist professional help.
